North Dakota Chiropractic Summary
The practice of chiropractic involves the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients using various methods, including x-rays, diagnostic imaging, and clinical procedures taught by accredited chiropractic colleges. Treatments include adjustments or manipulations of the spine, joints, and displaced tissues, as well as physiotherapy, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy. Chiropractors can provide professional opinions, assess permanent impairments, and delegate basic care to certified assistants. Telehealth services are also included.

Continuing Education requirements

requirements for educators
To have a program approved, the sponsor must submit the following information to the board: a detailed course outline or syllabus that includes the method of instruction and testing materials, the qualifications of each instructor along with the subjects they will teach, and the procedure for recording attendance for those seeking continuing chiropractic education credit. Qualifications:
1. A chiropractor can perform a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam if they are a certified medical examiner (CME) listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) National Registry.
2. If it is acceptable to the local DVM.
