Volunteer

This project benefits from an open, inclusive, transparent, collaborative, and diverse group of people serving to implement the plan and vision for the profession. It would not be possible to fulfill our mission without the hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm of our volunteers. Our volunteers serve on one of six workgroups.

ChiroTech Consortium (CTC): Charged with determining and tracking utilization metrics that empower the profession with reliable data, which supports decisions and messaging moving forward. Volunteers must attend monthly meetings and actively participate and assist with action items/tasks relate to the workgroup goals.

Fundraising: Charged with ensuring there are adequate resources available to fully execute the profession-wide strategic plan. Volunteers must attend monthly meetings and actively participate and assist with action items/tasks relate to the workgroup goals.

Communications: Charged with establishing a transparent communications plan that reports the efforts of Chiropractic Future. Volunteers must attend monthly meetings and actively participate and assist with action items/tasks relate to the workgroup goals.

Government Affairs (GA): Charged with creating a strong legislative support for chiropractic priorities and initiatives. Volunteers must attend monthly meetings and actively participate and assist with action items/tasks relate to the workgroup goals.

Research: Charged with ensuring a robust research environment in chiropractic that is well-funded with a clear pipeline for researchers to advance the body of a work. Volunteers must attend monthly meetings and actively participate and assist with action items/tasks relate to the workgroup goals.

Better Access to Chiropractic Super Pac (BAC PAC): Charged with helping the state associations and chiropractic profession have the political capacity and funds to support the passage of legislation. Volunteers must attend monthly meetings and actively participate and assist with action items/tasks relate to the workgroup goals.

Survey Workgroup: We are dedicated to advancing the chiropractic profession and ensuring its continued growth and success. To accomplish this, we need your valuable insights and opinions. By joining our Survey Group, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your thoughts on various topics related to the advance of the chiropractic profession. Your feedback will help shape the future of the profession, enabling us to better serve the profession as a whole. This workgroup does not have meetings.

How do I volunteer?

Complete an online interest form and let us know where your passion is leading you! There are many areas where you can get involved. Everything from fundraising, to research, to advocacy efforts, and more!

What are the expectations?

Workgroups are expected to meet at least monthly and carry out assignments they agree to in between meetings. For more information, review the Volunteer Handbook.

Will I be required to travel?

Most meetings are virtual. However, there are some key events throughout the year that the workgroups or leadership committee members may benefit from face-to-face meetings. In the event that an in-person meeting is established and it requires travel, a budget will be identified to support travel costs.

May I volunteer for something not related to a workgroup or a taskforce?

We are open to learning more about what you have to offer! In-kind support and services will help us leverage our funds for the purpose of implementing the Plan and investing in specific activities. Please send us a message using the contact us form to let us know how you want to help!
