Volunteer FAQ
How do I volunteer?
Complete an online interest form and let us know where your passion is leading you! There are many areas where you can get involved. Everything from fundraising, to research, to advocacy efforts, and more!
Will I be required to travel?
Most meetings are virtual. However, there are some key events throughout the year that the workgroups or leadership committee members may benefit from face-to-face meetings. In the event that an in-person meeting is established and it requires travel, a budget will be identified to support travel costs.
What are the expectations?
Workgroups are expected to meet at least monthly and carry out assignments they agree to in between meetings. For more information, review the Volunteer Handbook.
May I volunteer for something not related to a workgroup or committee?
We are open to learning more about what you have to offer! In-kind support and services will help us leverage our funds for the purpose of implementing the Plan and investing in specific activities.
