ChiroTech Consortium Short Term & Intermediate Goals

The ChiroTech Consortium (CTC) has been focusing its time and resources on (1) setting short and intermediate term goals, and (2) building out dashboards that can support the other workgroups and the profession. The first dashboard has been released and it’s the reimbursement dashboard that benchmarks state and national data by state that state association leaders have access to in order to identify both positive and negative trends in reimbursement. In addition, a nationwide webinar has been performed to train state leaders on this data and there will soon be a webinar to help providers understand this data and the key variables that are driving their results. In addition, operational metrics will be shared for providers to understand how to improve their cash flow. The focus on familiarity with data and using the data to identify local and national trends will continue through 2022.

The CTC has also been exploring ways to support the other workgroups, specifically the GA and Research workgroups. Several calls have been had to discuss areas of opportunity and to introduce these groups to key service providers that may be able to help us achieve our goals of being information enabled. Concerns around budget allocation exist and will need to be discussed at the upcoming leadership meeting in Mississippi. Further, creating data standards is part of our roadmap in order to leverage other platforms to aggregate, organize and disseminate key data. We also continue to invite key stakeholders to our meetings to align with our core values. There appear to be multiple short and intermediate term opportunities in working with those in various aspects of the profession. Participation in monthly calls has been excellent and task execution continues to occur at a high level.
